Keep it in the Ground - focuses on the regional and national issues around tar sands, oil transport, and Arctic drilling.
#ExxonKnew - focuses on the 350 Seattle response to recent revelations about Exxon’s climate knowledge and lies.
Community Solutions - focuses on promoting positive ideas such as carbon pricing, energy efficiency initiatives, biocarbon initiatives, and other pathways to a low-carbon economy.
Trade Policy - works to educate the community about, and defeat the passage of, the Trans-Pacific Partnership Free Trade Agreement.
Divestment - works to support local campuses and faith groups with their divestment campaigns, and is working to persuade the City of Seattle’s pension funds to divest. Also working on getting the Gates Foundation to divest.
WA Billion Tree Campaign - advocates for and organizes the planting of trees, which is necessary, along with cuts in carbon emissions, for the planet to return to a climate-stable 350ppm.
Artful Activism - provides art and visuals support for all of 350 Seattle, and strives to make connections with a range of communities.
Outreach & Speakers Bureau - works to strengthen relationships with other groups, and with local communities. Host educational events. Our Speakers Bureau consists of people willing to go to dinners, faith groups, clubs, etc. to talk about climate change.
Media/Communications - works to support all of 350 Seattle with press, content, and web support.
Infrastructure - supports the growth of 350 Seattle by holding down the “behind the scenes” work: data, admin, fundraising, finance, etc. It’s way more fun than it sounds.
