This will be the first of a series of events as we continue to build power and resistance to the fossil fuel industry in the PNW in the days of Trump.
We will be bringing people together to form affinity groups to support and empower one another as we continue to build a grassroots climate movement that can -- and will -- win vital fights at the state, local and corporate level.
At this first event we will be learning about the vital importance that the Pacific Northwest plays in the fight for climate justice, as well as beginning to learn the vital skills and roles required to get involved in strategic non-violent direct action.
If you know that you are willing to risk arrest to prevent the largest coal terminal in North America from being built in WA state, OR if you would be more comfortable providing support in some other way, we hope you will come to this event and get involved -- the people playing support roles are every bit as important to a successful direct action as those who risk arrest.
